ribs, beer and bitter candy

I am so happy that Sacramento Magazine ran my reader/restaurant review!  They gave me a different last name, but that's okay.  I had so much fun doing the photo shoot at Lucille's with a huge plate of ribs and a super big beer, which I didn't drink because it was 10:00 am and I had to drive my kids home after the shoot!  But, dang I wanted to!

Kids are funny:  April made a frosting school bus at pre-school the other day that had licorice tires.  After a taste of the black ropes she said to me, "it's candy, mommy, but it tastes bad."
